You’re invited to attend a very joyous and blessed event titled: ‘In Praise of The One Most Praised ﷺ’. The central theme of the event revolves around mentioning Our Beloved Messenger ﷺ, and beautifying his praises. There will be two main sessions about the sweetest breeze that has ever blown through the earth— his life ﷺ —, and general topics of knowing and increasing our love for him ﷺ. Intermittently, we will have Arabic and English poetry in his praise ﷺ, in an easy to follow manner, in-shāʾ-Allāh.
When The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked about fasting on Mondays, he ﷺ responded saying: “It is the day I was born, and the day I first received revelation”.[1] Since these days happen to coincide with his blessed birth ﷺ— the day the earth was illuminated like never before— you’re encouraged to fast that Saturday. Basic Ifṭār and dinner will be provided.
Please do not post this on any social media. You are allowed to bring friends, and share the invite, but please keep it low-key [smaller gatherings are more conducive to sparking a love of desire].
P.S. If this happens to be on the 10th of Rabīʿ Al-ʾAwwal, that’s the most likely date of his birth ﷺ. If it happens to be on the 11th, then the event will go into the eve of the 12th, which is the most common date of his birth ﷺ. Win — Win. Alḥamdulillāh.
