Servants of The Beloved

Khuddām Al-Ḥabīb

The Beloved ﷺ and The Qurʾān

The Qurʾān is here, a book so bright,
Our Prophet explains it, a man of light.
What honor and greatness, he must have,
The Most Perfect Words, to ever touch our hands.
God Himself, uttered this speech,
And chose only one, for His Words to preach.

God’s Book is one, written before time,
Our Prophet is such, that he’s first in line.
One part and parcel, apart of Him Divine,
The second, a creature, with character sublime.

What status and rank, to receive this book,
The mountains would crumble, even before they shook.
But the heart of our Prophet, was hand-crafted by He,
The most perfect of words, for the most perfect Nabī.

It’s beyond love to know what this truly means,
God especially chose him for His one final dīn.
And don’t ever forget, every letter inside,
Of infinite praises, some in disguise.
Know that God is Infinite, and goes beyond time,
So when He praises this Prophet, it’s Eternally Divine.
One praise of His Beloved, be it big or small,
It rings through creation since the start of it all,
Always and forever, at the highest extent,
A Praise of perfection with unending ascent.

And it’s the way of God, that He would talk,
And the angel would convey to the one who walked.
The prophets forever, lived this way,
Jibrīl would be, the one to convey.
But our love, the one, The Beloved, is he,
God invited him alone, and spoke directly.
Such waḥy beyond waḥy, has never been,
The Beloved, more loved than him, has never been seen.

But this task to call, and guide with His Book,
Was no easy task, that people would have took.
It’s a job and duty, decreed by God,
To His most special slave — Muḥammad, he’s called.
This burden he bore, with a radiant face,
A smile so sweet, your sorrows, erased.

The Beloved was hurt, day and night,
Cussed at and cursed, and put into fright.
But our love he remained, steady and strong,
So he can convey to us, and preach along.
Guiding to God, despite the hate,
Waiting for us, at Paradise Gate.
He showed us the way, and how to act,
Every action he did, was perfect in fact.
His walk, his talk, simple or grand,
Everything done, with perfect Iḥsān.
Follow his sunnah, to earn His Riḍwān.

We can talk and discuss, how perfect was he,
But his wife summarized it, just so perfectly:
“You ask me about, Muḥammad, this man?
What can I say?... He’s a walking Qurʾān.”
